I don’t know how many of you are in or near the Seattle, WA area, but I just wanted to show off this awesome site Mamishka made for the Sherlock Convention! It’s got all the information, but the basics are this: You have to pre-register so the Con space can be paid for ahead of time. She’s got a lot of panelists lined up, and I’ve decided that I’m going to do a limited edition screen print poster; I have a design for it planned out, and it’s pretty awesome. The con is Nov 3 and 4!
I’m only going to hand-print 50 of the posters, and you get one free (with some other awesome stuff from Reapersun, too, among other things) if you get the VIP membership. It would be really great if we could get this going, because I’m really looking forward to attending and seeing you all!
Hello everybody! There’s been a lot of questions coming up about the convention. A lot of the details are still being worked on, so here are just some basic answers!
When? - Saturday, October 13th & Sunday, October 14th: 10am - 5pm with possible ‘after’ convention events.
Where? - SIFF Film Center, Seattle Center, Seattle Washington.
Membership? - This convention will be pre-registration only. There are a number of different membership donation levels to help support the convention, each with different bonuses. All funds collected will be used to pay for the rental of the space, licensing fees, fun stuff, prizes and making the convention awesome. A donation of $25 gets you into the convention and a swag bag, but seating for the screening is not guaranteed. A donation of $35 gets you all of the above and guaranteed seating for the screening. A donation of $45 gets you all of the above and a reserved seat, chosen by you, for the screening. Seat choices will be in the order of registration.
The opening of the official website for registration and more information will be some time next week. I’ll announce the specific dates here beforehand.
I’m still looking for Sherlock artists who are interested in participating in the event!

Fabulous! Okay; here’s what we’re looking for. Unicorn Empire is looking for a t-shirt model. We want someone who can take good quality photos of themselves wearing our shirts to use for our store and promotional images (as in, posting it on Tumblr going ‘Hey look at this shirt I made! promotional).
We don’t care what size/gender/anything else you are, but we want you to be GEEKY to the extremes, and have lots of feels- we want to work with someone who is doing this for fun, and will enjoy their shirts. You don’t have to be in every fandom we do, but we’d like you to at least have an appreciation for them. Your payment will be getting a free t-shirt for every one you model- We’ll ship you the shirt, you snap some pictures and get them back to us so we can put it in our listing, easy as pie.

Guys I need some awesome quotes from the BBC Sherlock (or original book, I’d be cool with that too) for a new t-shirt design. If I come up with something I like I’ll be doing a new Sherlock shirt. Thought I’d upload some of my cosplay from the Con. I dressed as Femlock for most of the event. There were a lot of Sherlock fans, actually, it was pretty rad!
Hey Femlock! We saw this girl at Sakuracon, she looked -awesome-, totes Femlock. For as much as I love fetlocks where s/he has shorter hair I also love when s/he’s got like… Long flowing beautiful curly tresses, because I think Sherlock is -vain- as all get out and it totally makes sense that even as a woman he’s look like he stepped out of an Herbal Essences commercial xD.
