Something I’ve been working on the last few days. Came out a bit different than I pictured but I’m pretty happy with it.
As promised, pictures of my new Hunger Games shirt. These are made by hand with the traditional Screenprinting Process, in metallic gold ink on black shirts. Available here.
Final Hunger Games design- The shirts are available here, I’m also going to do a separate post with the pictures of the shirts in just a minute, I just had to do it from two separate computers and can’t find a thumb drive. Anyway, I wanted to evolve the last design, so I took what I’d started with and expanded on it. We’ve still got Wheat for Peeta, the arrowhead Katniss leaves and the Primroses, but I also included some Mining picks to represent District 12 and the poisoned berries down by the 74. We’re going to see the movie on Sunday in IMAX and I can’t wait!
My finished Hunger Games shirts! They came out really great, and are available here. They’re in Regular and Fitted sizes and are washer/dryer safe. Now I have awesome hand-made swag to cry my eyes out in when we go and see the movie, yay!
We’ve got about 300 t-shirts to heat set, each one requires 4 minutes of constant ironing. Pepper and I have two little lap sized ironing boards, we got a second iron, and we are watching all of Supernatural this weekend. I know we’re pretty late to the party- I actually watched the first two seasons like, a year ago, but I couldn’t find it anywhere online, but now it’s on Netflix! So, that is what we are doing this weekend. Hunger Games Tees will be available on my Etsy Shop Monday! Here’s some process pics that Pepper took with her new cellphone.
Finally got around to taking pictures of my two new notebooks. Hunger Games Mockingjay a-la Classic Sailor Tattoo style and Sherlock’s Pirate Skull Lock with a Moriarty Arrow Key.
